Maqbanah District (مديرية مقبنة) is a district of the Taiz Governorate, Yemen. As of 2003, the district has a population of 62,471 inhabitants. The district is divided into three Makhalief: Mikhlaf Shamir, Mikhlaf Mirab and Mikhlaf al-Tharibat.

Yemen (ٱلْيَمَن), officially the Republic of Yemen, is a country in Western Asia.

It is situated on the southern end of the Arabian Peninsula, and borders Arabia to the north and Oman to the northeast and shares maritime borders with Eritrea, Djibouti and Somalia.
